Grey Hawk Golf Club
Membership Guidelines

· Grey Hawk is not a private club and is open to public play and corporate outings. Starting Times are guaranteed only with an advanced reservation. Grey Hawk will fill the tee sheet in the best interests of the club.

· Memberships are limited in number by classification and are available on a first come basis. Members from 2007 have the first opportunity to join for the 2008 season. If the desired classification is full, prospective members will be placed on a waiting list.

· Memberships for the year begin as soon as payment is received for the season. Payment for membership is due upon application. Acceptable forms of payment include VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check or cash. All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

· Starting Times are guaranteed only with an advanced reservation. Members are able to make starting times two weeks in advance for 2 or more players. Grey Hawk reserves the right to pair groups with less than four players. All members and guests must check in at the Golf Shop before beginning play. Senior members are able to play 18 holes per day.

· Regular Daily Fee Rates apply for members playing outside their designated playing times. For Seniors who wish to play more than 18 holes the replay rate is available.

· For Executive and Associate Members, greens fees for evening leagues after 3:00 Monday—Friday are included. However, membership privileges do not include play in outings and other non-member tournaments.

· Grey Hawk is a member of the Northern Ohio Golf Association. Members are able to play in NOGA Events.

· Members must abide by the golf policies of Grey Hawk Golf Club. Any violation of these policies may result in a forfeiture of membership without a refund.

· All memberships are good only for the golf season they’re purchased.

· For those joining later in the season a prorated fee may be available.

· Practice tee privileges are for the member only. Any member using his privilege to give others free practice balls will forfeit their practice privileges and may have their membership revoked without a refund.

· Members must post all scores played during the season in order to reflect an accurate handicap. Grey Hawk reserves the right to change a player’s handicap for club events if he/she does not post scores which reflect the player’s ability in club tournaments. All club tournament scores will be posted as a tournament by the golf shop.

· All members and guests must check in to the Golf Shop before beginning play. Durham Ridge homeowners owning their own golf car may not start on any hole prior to checking in.

· All food and beverage brought onto the golf course must be purchased from the Grey Hawk Clubhouse, Beverage Cart, and/or Concession areas. Durham Ridge homeowners are not permitted to bring food and beverage from home onto the golf course property.

· A "Medical Leave" may be taken at anytime during the season if for some reason a member will be unable to play due to an illness. A prorated credit will be given towards membership for the following year. The credit amount will be determined by the club. The number of rounds played is irrelevant to the amount of credit given Once a member takes a medical leave he/she will not be able to play Grey Hawk as a member for the rest of the season. Normal greens fee rates will apply.

These guidelines may be added to or amended as necessary at any time.
